Our amazing in house photographer Reyes photography and design is back with private mini sessions. Each dancer is optional to sign up on the link below to book your spot directly with her. Pictures will be taken at our studio. Each dancer will pick 1 or 2 costumes to take individual photos with during the allotted time. Each slot is 10 minutes, YOU MUST BE ON TIME FOR YOUR SLOT. All further info is available on the link below days for photos will be hosted on Tuesday June 16th & Wednesday June 17th.

Hair & Makeup
In this section, you will find all recital requirements for shoes, hair, makeup, and tights. All dancers participating in recital must have the items listed below.All female dancers should wear their hair in a middle-part, middle ponytail along with natural earth-tone makeup for dress rehearsal and recital performances. Please do not wear blue eye shadow. Stage makeup is very important so dancers’ faces do not appear washed out under the stage lights.For dancers under age 3, makeup is optional, as we understand sensitive skin can make it challenging. Below is a sample hair and makeup look for recital.
Tights & Shoes
Below is a breakdown of the tights and shoes required for each class. Please review carefully to ensure your dancer has all required items for recital.
Tuesday Homeschool Program
• Hip Hop – All white sneakers
• Contemporary – Suntan stirrup tights, half soles
• Jazz – Suntan stirrup tights, tan jazz shoes
Tuesday Mini Bundle
• Ballet/Tap – Suntan footed tights, pink ballet shoes, tan tap shoes

• Ballet – Pink footed tights, pink ballet shoes

All dance shoes can be purchased at Competitors Closet. Please mention you dance at Thrive and staff will direct you to the correct shoes needed for your classes.For Hip Hop classes, any all-white or all-black sneakers that are labeled for class are acceptable and may be purchased at stores such as Walmart or other sneaker retailers.
Tech Rehearsal
Our Tech Rehearsal will be held on Thursday, June 18th. This is a no costume only dance attire rehearsal. Attendance is required for our entire recital cast, with the exception of Tribe dancers.
Detailed rehearsal times for each class are listed below. This rehearsal is extremely important as it allows dancers to become familiar with the theater, dressing room locations, stage spacing, and overall performance flow. It also gives our staff the opportunity to finalize lighting and technical programming for the recital.
Tech rehearsal is also very helpful for parents, as it provides a better understanding of how recital day will run and what to expect during the performances.
Please note that this is a closed rehearsal and only 2 representatives per student are permitted.

Recital Days
Our recital performances will be held on:
• Friday, June 19th at 6:00 PM
• Saturday, June 20th at 2:00 PM
All dancers should arrive already dressed in their first costume with hair and makeup fully completed prior to arrival.
Arrival times are as follows:
• Friday: 5:00 PM SHARP
• Saturday: 1:00 PM SHARP
The theater doors will open for guests at:
• Friday: 5:30 PM
• Saturday: 1:30 PM
Ticket information will be sent in a future email. Tickets will be available on a first come, first serve basis, and families will have the opportunity to select their seats during purchase.
If tickets are still available the day of the recital, they may be purchased online using the future link provided or at the door. We strongly encourage families to email ahead of time to confirm ticket availability for day-of purchases.

At Thrive The Dance Studio, our mission is to inspire a love of dance in a supportive and uplifting environment that embraces both competitive and recreational dancers. We offer high-quality training at a part-time level, allowing our students the flexibility to pursue dance while also participating in sports, academics, and other activities they love. Our goal is to provide the best of both worlds—where passion meets balance, and dancers can thrive both on and off the stage.
OUR STORY
Thrive The Dance Studio was established in 2020 in the midst of the pandemic. Located in Warwick Rhode Island, Thrive offers classes to children ages 14 months and up. Specializing in Ballet, Tap, Contemporary, Jazz, Hip-hop and Gymnastics, With both recreational and competitive classes available.
At Thrive we are so much more then a studio. We are a community and family. We offer open opportunity to both our students as well as anyone interested in exploring the passion for dance.
